ICCC Program Takeaways
This flexible, free 40-hour “mini-MBA” program offers:
- Opportunity to receive a $2,000 capital grant upon completion of 40 credit hours
- A full day in-person training seminar led by top ranked management professors
- Supplemental digital courses in Finance, Strategy, Marketing, and Leadership
- Targeted workshops & webinars delivering easily implementable strategies
- Peer-to-peer connections with a national network of over 7,000 small businesses
- One-on-one coaching with small business lenders and subject matter experts
- Access to the Inner City Alumni Network (ICAN) post graduation
Eligibility
A business must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for participation in ICCC: *
- Be an independent, for-profit or non-profit corporation, partnership or proprietorship.
- Have its headquarters or more than 51% of its physical operations located in an economically-distressed area OR have more than 40% of employees residing in an economically-distressed area.
- Have revenues for the past three years, and a minimum of $150,000 in at least one of those years
- Have been in operation for three years or more and must be past the proof-of-concept stage. ICCC does not accept start-up companies.
*On a case-by-case basis, ICCC will consider businesses that do not meet all of the specified criteria on the recommendation of a nominator.

pital Connections program, you gain access one of our most invaluable resources: ICAN. The Inner City Alumni Network (ICAN), comprised of past participants of one or more of our Urban Business Initiatives, empowers and serves ICIC alumni by providing ongoing learning and professional development, visibility and recognition, and a network through which they may explore collaboration and contracting opportunities. The program includes our exclusive online Community platform, yearly networking and educational events, and timely and relevant resources.
