Structural Barriers to Small Business Success Webinar | Tuesday, October 15, 2024 | 2-3 p.m. ET | Register
Entrepreneurship is often thought of as an arena of equal opportunity. However, entrepreneurs of color, including Black, Latine, and Asian entrepreneurs, face significant structural barriers to building successful businesses in ways that white entrepreneurs do not. Structural Barriers to Small Business Success is a joint project by ICIC and Small Business Majority that highlights the effects of these inequities. The tool is the first of its kind, combining information from public and private data sources in the 100 largest metropolitan areas into a user-friendly interactive map. The map is designed to help users understand the business ecosystems in their communities.
Join us for a live demonstration of the interactive map and a discussion on the applications and implications of this groundbreaking tool for policymakers, economic developers, and community organizers.
