Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) and ICIC are proud to partner with Amazon and Arctaris Impact Investors to launch a supplier empowerment program designed to help diverse owned and small businesses (DOSBs) in Connecticut grow and increase economic impact in the region.
The Amazon Accelerate and Empower program in Connecticut will be offered in hybrid modality, starting with an in-person Opening Seminar taking place Tuesday, July 30th. The Opening Seminar will be followed by a series of online classes tailored for suppliers, including content created and delivered by Amazon, and an in-person capstone event. This program also features a unique capital coaching opportunity with Arctaris Impact Investors.

As a Nominator, we would work together to identify and nominate businesses in your network to participate in the program.
We’ve created the 2024 Accelerate and Empower Nominator Toolkit which includes our Nominator Process Packet, sample language and social media copy to promote the program, and other tools to best assist you through the nomination process. It outlines the various ways you can get involved as a nominator, the nomination and application timelines, best practices, and FAQs.
You can nominate business owners using our online Nomination Form, or by uploading your nominations to the Nomination Template and emailing it to sfigueroa@icic.org by Friday, June 14th, 2024.

As a Collaborator, we would work together to promote and provide resources to the larger small business ecosystem by hosting webinars, volunteering as coaches, and participating in various panel discussions.
