This story is the fifth and final in a series of Stories of Resilience that demonstrate the generosity, creativity and community-building spirit that countless ICIC alumni have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, Ned Davis was confident that he would need to cease operations for his research and technology firm Maui Innovations, but then he got a call. Ned and his staff were asked to build ventilators for their local hospital deeming the company essential and thus preventing his business from going under. Ned’s story highlights how leaders look to small businesses for critical solutions. Ned participated in the Hawaii cohort of ICIC’s Inner City Capital Connections program.
