This story is the fourth in a series of Stories of Resilience that demonstrate the generosity, creativity and community-building spirit that countless ICIC alumni have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yowlanda Owens is the founder and owner of Atlanta-based Iwi Fresh, a farm-to-skin spa that sells products, offers services, and has doubled down on creative natural skincare solutions during the COVID-19 crisis. Like most small businesses, Yolanda has had to pivot her business model in order to stay economically viable and continue to provide a livelihood to her cherished staff. Yolanda is a graduate of the Inner City Capital Connections program and in 2018 presented at our National Conference. We are proud to feature her in the fourth instalment of our Stories of Resilience video series.
