Small businesses account for most of the employment in the United States, making it more important than ever that we support entrepreneurs by helping build their businesses. When small businesses succeed, it leads to good jobs and better local economies.
Our goals include fostering healthy communities along with healthy businesses. That’s why ICIC continues to develop its partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest nonprofit integrated health care delivery system, to offer the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) program to more small businesses in the Greater Bay Area and beyond. When a small business invests in its employees, it impacts the health and the well-being of their families and communities.
Watch the video below to see how the partnership between ICIC and Kaiser Permanente has enabled Olivia Colt, owner of Salt & Honey Catering and Events, to focus on the future of her business, which provides opportunities for her local community.
ICIC drives inclusive economic prosperity in under-resourced communities through innovative research and programs to create jobs, income, and wealth for local residents.
