WATCH: Kaiser Permanente and ICCC partner to create healthy businesses

Small businesses account for most of the employment in the United States, making it more important than ever that we support entrepreneurs by helping build their businesses. When small businesses succeed, it leads to good jobs and better local economies. When entrepreneurs start their companies where they live, it connects them to their neighbors and allows them both to flourish together.

Our goals include fostering healthy communities along with healthy businesses. That’s why, ICIC continues to develop its partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest nonprofit integrated health care delivery system, to offer the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) program to more small businesses in the Greater Bay Area and beyond. When a small business invests in its employees, it impacts the health and well-being of their families, and communities with thriving small businesses are more likely to have healthier residents.

Watch the video below to see how ICIC and Kaiser Permanente’s partnership helped Deanna Roberts bring innovation and investment to D.R. Roberts Event Management.
