Susan Fox Schiro founded Career Collaborative in 1997 with the mission of enabling family self-sufficiency by helping low-income adults find and keep jobs with career potential. Under Susan’s leadership, Career Collaborative grew into a highly-acclaimed workforce development organization that provides comprehensive career services to low-income clients.
Prior to Career Collaborative, Susan was a principal at Systemics where she specialized in organizational consulting. She helped a diverse mix of clients improve individual and organizational problem solving and communication by maintaining a focus on team building.
Susan has also taught at numerous higher education institutions including Bentley University, Suffolk University, Babson College, and Northeastern University, and was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Susan holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management.
