Windy City Ribs & Whiskey, with two locations in Chicago’s South Loop and Navy Pier, is known for its BBQ, smoked wings, and signature drinks. Established in 2018, its whiskey legacy dates back to 1865. The owner’s great-grandfather, Anderson Moore, a freed slave, sold whiskey and land, creating a wealth strategy for his descendants. Today, Terri Evans continues this vision, building generational wealth with her businesses. Community is a part of the company’s DNA. The Windy City Ribs & Whiskey team volunteers a number of hours to non-profits and community groups throughout the greater Chicago area. The company is dedicated to providing resources to communities and children to combat inequities, and to providing resources to support economic development in Black and brown communities.
