Sisters Traveling Solo’s mission is to connect, inspire, support, and empower women through travel. Whether via solo or group trips, the company’s goal is to encourage women to step beyond their comfort zone and boldly explore the world on their own terms.
With a local community expanding beyond the city where the company is based, Sisters Traveling Solo seeks to positively impact the communities in every country it arranges trips to. From donating to a shelter for abused women and children in Senegal to intentionally supporting woman-owned tour operators for its cultural experiences, the company creates opportunities to give back during travel. To date, it has supported woman-owned businesses in Ghana, Tanzania, and Morocco with donations in excess of $300,000.
