ICIC has been recruiting for executive education programs throughout our 30-year history. We’ve continuously refined our outreach strategies to reflect changes in the market and ensure we reach high-potential businesses that will benefit most from our programs. Our approach is flexible, inclusive, and informed by decades of experience supporting small businesses in underresourced communities.
Our primary recruitment goal is to generate strong, qualified applications from businesses that are ready to grow and will benefit from our programs. We typically recruit 25–50% more participants than our target, recognizing that plans may shift before or on the day of the program.

Building for Growth (BFG) is a national, online, tuition-free executive education program that helps primarily BIPOC-, woman-, and veteran-owned construction contractors build capacity and develop sustainable growth strategies.
