Sarah Ginand

Sarah Ginand, Director of Marketing & Communications at ICIC, is a growth catalyst with expertise in strategic marketing, communications, and business development. She develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies to align with the organization’s goals, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with funding partners, small businesses, and media, and amplifying ICIC’s impact across our ecosystem.  Additionally, she oversees content creation, social media presence, development of our yearly impact report, and event management to share ICIC’s impact comprehensively.

Prior to joining ICIC, Sarah founded Strategic Marketing Consulting, specializing in helping professional services firms achieve rapid growth in complex business environments. With her diverse background as a C-level executive, advisor, and marketing leader, she provided valuable insights to expedite clients’ ambitious growth targets. Additionally, for six years, Sarah served as a Technical Assistance Provider for the City of Boston, supporting small businesses across various neighborhoods and making a tangible impact on their growth and resilience.

Before these roles, Sarah spent 20 years at a national infrastructure consulting firm, holding various positions. As Chief of Administration, she aligned administrative functions with evolving business needs. Later, as Director of Marketing, she led strategic marketing and business development activities, contributing significantly to the firm’s growth and market presence through her innovative approach.

Ms. Ginand received an MBA from Babson College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College.
