Chris Conti

Christopher Conti is an author, advisor, board member, former C-level executive, and company President.
He currently serves on the board of RYZE Claims Solutions, a Bain Capital company, and holds advisory roles with
American Family Ventures and Viatec Power Solutions. Mr. Conti is the author of “I CARE: My Journey to a New
Leadership Mindset”, a book offering insights on leadership, and recently founded the I CARE Leadership Network.
Prior to retiring from American Family Group, Mr. Conti was a member of its Senior Leadership Team where he held
the position of Enterprise Chief Claims Officer and President of AFICS (American Family Insurance Claims Services). In
that role, Mr. Conti led the consolidation of 5 claims operations and the formation of AFICS. His impact was significant
including reducing claims operating expense, improving customer and agent satisfaction, and accelerating digital
technology innovation, all while improving employee engagement. Mr. Conti also led a company wide effort to
identify cost reduction, technology consolidation, and organizational re-alignment opportunities to meet the goal of
reducing operating expense by $400+ million over 5 years.

In 2023, Fast Company named AFICS/AmFam Group one of the top 100 most innovative companies to work.
Mr. Conti joined AmFam Group through its acquisition of Homesite where he served as EVP, Operations and Human
Resources. In his tenure as a member of Homesite’s senior team, Mr. Conti led the operations, claims, and Human
Resource teams helping scale Homesite from 200 employees to 2000 and $1 billion in premium.
Prior to joining Homesite, Mr. Conti held consulting positions with Cambridge Technology Partners and Gemini
Consulting. His practice areas of focus included customer experience management and service operations
transformation. He has consulted to Fortune 500 and start-up organizations.

As an advisor, board member, and author, Mr. Conti brings his leadership experience to support CEO’s in rapidly
scaling and transforming organizations while concurrently building a culture of innovation. His insights on leadership
development as outlined in his book offer a framework to build a culture of integrity, curiosity, accountability,
resilience and empathy that enables leaders to improve team performance and develop future leaders.
Through his work with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, he is dedicated to using his experience to support
small businesses in underserved communities. He is also a member of the Save Popponesset Bay Association and a
sponsor of charitable work through The Boston Foundation.

Mr. Conti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and
an MBA from Stern School, New Your University.

He and his wife, Lisa, have three grown children and spend their time between Boston and Cape Cod. They enjoy
traveling, boating, and staying active in the community.
