Watkins Security Agency (WSA) provides customized security solutions, including armed and unarmed security guards, investigations, facility security assessments, roving patrol, and traffic controlling services for the U.S. Government and commercial businesses in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia metropolitan area. WSA is one of the oldest woman-owned and operated company in the MD – D.C. metropolitan area.
WSA actively participates in local organizations, such as Living Classrooms and Youthworks Programs. Prior to COVID-19, it participated in the Youthworks Program that facilitated internships for high school students to work in the office and assist with the company’s social media and learn to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, the company volunteered at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg Annual Action Day where it built over 300 bikes for inner-city school children at a local community center which was operated by Living Classrooms.
