Three Brothers Bakery traces its traditions to Poland circa 1825, preserved despite the family’s concentration camp imprisonment during the Holocaust. Now in its fifth generation in Houston, Texas, the scratch bakery employs approximately 75 team members and produces a full line of breads, pastries, cookies, specialty cakes, and pies. The bakery has been named Best of the Best Bakery by Chron.com five years in a row, and its pecan pie has been recognized multiple times by Country Living Magazine. In 2018, the bakery received the SBA Phoenix Award.
For 76 years, Three Brothers Bakery has donated its day-old baked goods to those in need, rooted in the founders’ experience with extreme hunger during their concentration camp imprisonment. The bakery also sponsors monthly bake sales from January through October, donating 50 percent of proceeds to a different charity each month, and has contributed over $100,000 in proceeds and matching funds.
