Equus Striping, founded in 2017 by Megan Bailiff, Dan Bailiff, and Marcellus Shelton, is a full-service pavement marking company based in Southeast DC. The company specializes in striping roadways, parking lots, playgrounds, and courts. They have expanded to include thermoplastic pavement marking operations and HFST StreetBond installations for bike and bus lane designation, traffic gardens, and playgrounds. Equus has grown from three founders to a team of over a dozen trained employees.
Equus is committed to hiring from within its community and gives back through its annual Thanksgiving Equus Street Feast, personally cooking and serving meals to 75 to 100 people in Southeast DC.
