As a communications professional who has a passion for converting data into digestible information through marketing and graphic design, Indhira has been able to give small brands a facelift as a one stop shop. In her role as a Lead Communications and Program Coordinator on the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) Program team, Indhira is responsible for cultivating relationships with key community stakeholders and partners from across the country to connect small business owners in under resourced communities to necessary businesses resources for growth. She further enhances the program curriculum by managing the program’s Webinars component and collaborating with a variety of expert practitioners from across several industries to deliver 1-hr educational content. Indhira has been responsible for organizing more than 80 small business webinars and connecting over 3,000 program participants and an additional 3,000 alumni to free small business resources.
Prior to joining the ICCC team, Indhira consulted artists and musicians to build their brands and gain exposure through content creation, social media strategy, photography, styling services and event planning. Indhira also worked for renowned photographer Gary Land, managing the operations of three companies under one media house. While there, Indhira initiated the production of a collaborative effort between the esteemed photographer, NBA legend Allen Iverson and notable brands like Reebok, Bodega and UNDFTD through a series of products, events and art. This collaboration inaugurated the creation of a fourth company and its first product launch.
Indhira is an experienced event planner, organizing events like pop up shops, business seminars, weddings and more. She has experience in decorating and coordinating events, visual arts and creative consulting. She holds a Social Media Marketing Certification and Marketing Strategy Certification from Cornell University and has taken several graphic design courses through the American Graphics Institute. Indhira holds a Bachelor of Arts, in Information Design and Corporate Communications from Bentley University and is an Artist for the Switch Cooperative in Boston.
When she’s not leading communications initiatives for the ICCC program, Indhira can be found bringing her next visual project to life.
