Isha Kamara

Isha Kamara is a program analyst on the Black in Business and 10,000 Small Business Teams. Their background includes small business development, philanthropy, and social inequality advocacy. Before joining ICIC, they worked in the District of Columbia Public Schools as a High School Special Education English Teacher and also as a consultant for multiple small Women and Minority-Owned Businesses.  With their family, Isha help manage a non-profit providing educational equity to children in Magbele, Sierra Leone. They graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies and a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship in 2020.
