Chris Scott

Chris brings a diverse skillset and background in academic research, local government policy, and socioeconomic data analysis to ICIC. As a senior research associate, Chris primarily engages on projects relating to economic development and cluster growth and provides support in the form of qualitative and quantitative analysis of inner city economies.

Prior to joining ICIC, Chris spent time working at Enterprise Community Advisors, a Washington, DC-based non-profit that provides technical assistance to public sector agencies with an emphasis on socioeconomic development. He has also worked at the Montgomery County, Maryland Office of the County Executive and was an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Sitka, Alaska. Chris holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a M.P.P. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
