Callan Small

As an associate on the Development team, Callan serves ICIC through the maintenance and expansion of the individual giving program. This includes managing the annual donor cycle, leveraging and enhancing our data strategy, and providing support to the executive team’s fundraising efforts.

Callan has also played a key role in the implementation of our Inner City Alumni Network (ICAN), facilitating virtual events, coordinating the quarterly newsletter, and rebranding the program. She is the communications lead for the development team, and assists the Communications team with social media, design materials, content creation, and website maintenance.

Prior to ICIC, Callan worked as a project intern for The Philanthropic Initiative where she assisted with the activation and visibility of the Invest for Better Campaign. She has also held internships at the Office of Governor John Carney (DE),  Planned Parenthood of Delaware, and the Massachusetts Sierra Club.

Callan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations with a minor in Spanish from the University of Delaware, where she was a member of the Women’s Ice Hockey team, and an active fundraiser for the B+ Foundation.
