As communications director, Beth develops and leads communications, marketing, and related outreach strategies that connect ICIC’s brand, research, programs and initiatives with external constituencies.
Prior to joining ICIC, she served as Executive Director of the District of Columbia’s Office of Lottery and Gaming, overseeing the operations of the DC Lottery, as well as the regulation and oversight of sports betting, games of skill, and charitable games. Beth also previously led an executive management team at the Massachusetts State Lottery that brought the organization to new levels of success. In addition to lottery industry expertise, her marketing, media relations, and strategic communications experience spans from serving as CEO of a regional print media outlet to providing strategic consultation to multiple top-tier national brands, including BJ’s Wholesale Club, the Boston Red Sox, Citizens Financial Group, and Erickson Retirement Communities, and leading public relations departments for several Massachusetts state agencies.
Beth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and attended Salem State College.
