As an analyst on the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) Team, Matt is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with inner city CEOs and members of the small business community. Matt also operates the ICCC Facebook page.
Prior to ICIC, Matt served as a Youth Services Specialist for Action for Community Development (ABCD). He worked closely with youth from across Boston working summer jobs, administering workshops and applying a personalized approach with each teen to maximize professional growth. That summer, he also administered a summer program at ABCD’s William J. Ostiguy Recovery High School, an opportunity that he heavily cherished. The previous summer, he was an Intern for The American City Coalition, creating gentrification and history reports for United Neighbors of Lower Roxbury (UNLR), while revitalizing its website and administering surveys in the neighborhood. Additionally, he has served as an Intern in the Office of Senator Elizabeth Warren, where he was able to help constituents with a variety of issues, and played a very active role in his college’s student government.
This past May, Matt graduated with Honors as a Double Major in Sociology and International Studies with a Political Science Focus, with a Minor in Philosophy from Boston College. Through a litany of opportunities throughout college, he was able to cement his interest in social justice and striving towards a world where hard work ensures success.
