As an urban business initiatives associate, David’s primary focus is the implementation of the outreach, application and selection process for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
Before joining ICIC, David built experience in social entrepreneurship and capacity building. He has founded an organization called Interfaith Appalachia, which brought together diverse university students from across the country to work with ministries and community development programs in rural Kentucky. Most recently, David completed a Fellowship in Nonprofit Capacity Building with Third Sector New England. He is actively involved in his synagogue, where he co-teaches a class for children and parents.
David holds a BA from Oberlin College, with majors in Environmental Studies and Jewish Studies.
